We are currently planning a European Tour of Only Hope. The aim is to fund-raise enough money to produce the next ONLY HOPE!
Basically the plan is to organize screenings of Only Hope and charge a 3 euros entrance for the event. The money will revert for the venue, Casa do Caminho and Only Hope.
This is a chance to party with some favela funk, watch some movies and support a social cause.
So, if you know of any place in your home town where these types of events can happen and would like to see Only Hope happening in your town just let me know and I will cycle to you to screen Only Hope.
Apart from that, I would like to say that this idea is completely open to all of you out there. Only Hope its not Pedro and Tony and if someone feels they want to do the same, well just go for it. However to be considered a Only Hope journey needs to meet 3 main criteria.
1. It has to be interactive. The idea is to gather people to travel with you, therefore you must shoot, edit and upload videos about your trip.
2. It has to be a challenge. You must do something that challenges yourself, something that you are afraid of, or out of your mental and physical abilities. In the end you must be left with Only Hope.
3. It supports a social cause. You must involve any NGO or organization that really is making a difference in the lives of people. Your trip is for them!
For now we wish you all the best,
Keep the Hope alive
